Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 23, 2026

NetFlow Ops LLC, doing business as DataForge Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), provides DataForge, a browser-local business workspace available at app.netflowops.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit netflowops.com or use DataForge.

1. Browser Local Storage & Core Data

DataForge is designed to process and store your business records (such as invoices, expenses, leads, and clients) strictly in your web browser's local storage. We do not intentionally transmit, collect, or store these business records on DataForge servers.

Important: Because this data is stored locally on your device, it can be permanently lost if you clear your browser storage, use private/incognito browsing, or lose access to your device. You are solely responsible for exporting backups, managing your data, and securing your device.

2. Information We Collect for Licensing & Purchases

When you purchase a DataForge license, we collect and process specific information to facilitate the transaction and manage your license:

  • Customer Information: Your email address and purchase details.
  • Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles your payment card and checkout information. DataForge receives customer, checkout-session, subscription, and legacy payment-intent identifiers as needed to manage access, but we never receive or store your full payment card details.
  • License Data: We process your license key prefix and hash, an encrypted key recovery copy, license status, random installation IDs (to manage your plan’s browser limit), and validation timestamps.
  • Cookies: Our checkout process uses a short-lived, signed, HttpOnly cookie to securely bind purchase recovery to the initiating browser. Sales pages may also use Tolt referral cookies. The app stores a referral identifier locally for a limited attribution period so it can be included at checkout.

3. Third-Party Infrastructure

In addition to Stripe for payment processing, we utilize Replit to provide application hosting and database infrastructure for our licensing and access systems. On sales pages, Tolt referral tracking may send a referral identifier and related purchase or conversion information to Tolt and Stripe. This tracking does not send your private business workspace records.

4. Analytics & Tracking

When analytics is enabled for the published site, Replit provides website analytics to help us understand page visits and whether subscription management is working. We record when Manage subscription is selected and whether a redirect to Stripe billing was started, could not be started, or was unavailable. These events do not include license keys, customer IDs, payment details, or your browser-local business records. Website analytics may process visit information such as your browser and IP address. Affiliate tracking is used for referral attribution as described above. Analytics may not be active in every environment.

We also use HeyCatch across marketing pages, the private workspace, and the interactive demo to automatically capture page visits, clicks, and navigation. Captured page text and element attributes are masked, and URL query strings and fragments are removed from event properties to reduce exposure of business data and purchase-recovery information. HeyCatch may process browser, device, IP address, and analytics identifiers and store analytics identifiers in browser storage. After our server verifies a new paid subscription, we send a subscription-started event and associate the verified billing customer identifier, billing email when available, and installation plan with it. We do not intentionally send license keys, payment-card details, or browser-local business records to HeyCatch. Third-party analytics code runs in the browser; local record storage does not isolate it from the page. Browser blocking or privacy settings may prevent analytics delivery.

5. Retention, Security, and Processing Location

We retain purchase and license records as long as necessary to provide license validation services and comply with legal obligations. Although we implement commercially reasonable security measures for the data we do hold (such as license keys), your core business records are secured entirely by your own device and browser security practices.

DataForge is operated from Illinois, United States. Stripe and Replit may process information in other locations where they or their service providers operate. By purchasing or using the Service, you acknowledge that your licensing information may be processed in the United States.

6. Your Choices and Requests

You can remove browser-local business records by using DataForge’s controls or clearing your browser storage, although clearing storage may permanently delete records you have not exported. For questions or requests concerning licensing information we hold, including access, correction, or deletion requests available under applicable law, contact us using the address below. We may retain purchase and transaction records where required for fraud prevention, license administration, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.

7. Children's Privacy

DataForge is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Effective Date."

Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 23, 2026

By purchasing, accessing, or using DataForge, provided by NetFlow Ops LLC, doing business as DataForge Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. License Grant and Usage Limit

Subject to an active DataForge subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use DataForge. The 5-browser plan costs $19.99 per month or $149 per year; the 15-browser plan costs $39.99 per month or $299 per year. A single subscription provides one key for up to the selected number of browser installations simultaneously. If you downgrade while more browsers are active than your new limit, existing activations remain usable, but additional browsers cannot be activated until the count is below the new limit.

2. Local Data Responsibilities

DataForge operates in your browser's local storage. You agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your outputs, securing your device against unauthorized access, and regularly exporting backups. We are not liable for data lost due to cleared browser caches, lost devices, or browser errors.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse DataForge. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, sub-license, or attempt to circumvent the licensing limitations. You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the DataForge software, design, and code remain the exclusive property of Gary Whetstone. Your purchase grants you a right to use the tool, not ownership of the underlying software.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year according to the plan selected at checkout until cancelled. Prices may change with advance notice where required by law. Stripe calculates prorated charges or credits when you change plans; it attempts to collect upgrade adjustments immediately, while downgrade credits are applied to future invoices rather than automatically refunded. To change plans, update payment details, or cancel, select Manage subscription in your activated workspace's Business settings. You can also contact support if you cannot access your workspace. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the end of the paid billing period.

6. No Professional Advice

DataForge provides mechanical tools for formatting and tracking data. It does not provide professional legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. You are responsible for verifying any document or calculation generated.

7. Service Changes and Availability

While DataForge runs primarily locally, the initial load and license validation require server access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue components of the Service with reasonable notice when possible.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NETFLOW OPS LLC BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA. REASONABLE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS CAPPED AT THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHERE LAWFUL.

10. Indemnity

Where lawful, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless NetFlow Ops LLC against any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license immediately, without refund, if you materially breach these Terms of Use.

12. Governing Law, Venue, and Severability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement and Changes

These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding DataForge. We may update these terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
